NOTRE DAME SCHOOL REUNION

FATIMA PILGRIMAGE SEPTEMBER 2027. INFORMATION EVENING

Do you want to step away from the noise, pray and reflect and make space for God? Do you want to celebrate 110 years since Our Lady appeared to Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta?
Over 11-14 September 2027, the archdiocese will be making a pilgrimage to Fatima. This is open to everybody, regardless of age or parish.
The pilgrimage package includes return flights, airport and local transfers, a guided visit, and the services of a McCabe tour manager. The Chaplaincy to the University of Liverpool, John Moores University and the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts is based at St Philip Neri Church on Catharine St, L8 7NL. We offer a place of welcome and hospitality for students and staff. There is a student Sunday Mass at 6.00pm during term time, and many events through the week and the academic year, helping students to explore their faith, develop their prayer life, and – importantly! socialise with each other and have fun. During this Jubilee Year of St Francis of Assisi, Pope Leo asks us to pray to St Francis using the following prayer:
‘St Francis, our brother, you who eight hundred years ago went to meet Sister Death as a man at peace, intercede for us before the Lord. You recognised true peace in the Crucifix of San Damiano, teach us to seek in Hm the source of all reconciliation that breaks down every wall. You who, unarmed, crossed the lines of war and misunderstanding, give us the courage to build bridges where the world raises boundaries. In this time afflicted by conflict and division, intercede for us so that we may become peacemakers: unarmed and disarming witnesses of the peace that comes from Christ.’ Amen.

BROTHER JAMES - PSALM OF CREATION
