RESOLUTION ON MIGRATION

The Bishop's conference in England and Wales passed a resolution on migration, which was inspired by Pope Francis when he wrote

“We ourselves need to see, and then to enable others to see, that migrants and refugees… are brothers and sisters to be welcomed, respected and loved.”

WORD FROM UKRAINE

Fr Andrij Rak C.Ss.R the Provincial superior of the Lviv Province with a message

AND SO IT IS

Just when we think

He's done it all -

No more achievements

To recall -

We can now sit back,

Recall, relax,

Banish envy,

Call a pax

On what one human

Can attain.

If only we, too,

Had his brain -

And temperament as well -

To change our world

And pundits tell

That nothing in Life

Is set in stone,

That no one

Walks this Path alone.

Dear Father Tim,

As the years fly by,

We make a promise

That we will try

To walk

Ten million steps with you,

To prove that Papal acumen

Is true!

A POEM FROM OUR RESIDENT POET

Beatus Nonagenta Natalis Carissime

Happy 90th Birthday Darling

Would we ever have believed

That the spark ignited,

In past historic times,

Would still burn,

No less bright,

Than when gentle lips

Imbued with essence magical,

First softly touched

And fused two souls

Into one eternal entity,

Who would walk resolutely through Life

Happily contented and blessed.

The Litanies can be used in groups or for private prayer; the Liturgy of the Word could be used for home prayer, especially for those who are unable to participate communally. J&P are also producing a Stations of the Cross PowerPoint in time for Holy Week.
