GOODBYE TO THE NOTRE DAME SISTERS 

It is with great sadness that we say ‘Goodbye’ to the community at 285, Woolton Road (opposite Bishop Eton). This has all happened rather suddenly in the wake of a fire safety inspection.

On behalf of all of us I wish to thank the sisters for all they have contributed to life of the parish. The community was formed in 1980 and has been in the present building since 1987. Sr Jo is moving down the road to 266; Kathleen and Ruth are going to Parbold; Phil, Marie Thérèse and Dorothy are going to Birkdale and Sr Charlie is staying in the university complex. We assure them of our prayers and good wishes for the future.
