I renew my request to you all to pray for us in the monastery in the coming days and weeks. Fr Andrew goes into hospital on Wednesday for some major keyhole surgery and will almost certainly be out for action for the following eight weeks. Fr Tom Molloy had to be admitted to hospital last Sunday and the doctors are still trying to determine the exact nature of his infection and how best to treat it. Likewise, Fr Jim Casey continues to undergo tests as an outpatient after his recent stay in hospital. We remain immensely grateful to the team from ‘Different Care’, who have now looked after eleven confrères since coming to our rescue early in 2021, including half the present community!
