DEANERY MEETING WITH WIDNES:

This Saturday the clergy and parish representatives will be attending a meeting in Widnes with Archbishop John to review the situation in our Deaneries. I believe that Widnes and our Deanery of Liverpool South have been chosen to pilot a project where we assess the situation in our different parishes with a view to future collaboration as we look to the future. I have asked Andrew McCaldon to accompany me. I understand that in due course we will need to form a Steering Group as we gather information and exchange ideas. By next weekend I may be better placed to give you more information.
