OUR SYRIAN FAMILY:

I am delighted to share with you that this Sunday, at St George’s Hall, the Syrian Family we sponsored over six years ago are being granted British Citizenship and I am honoured to have been asked to accompany them on the occasion. With Ann Connor we will represent all of you who worked so tirelessly to enable them to build a new life in safety and peace here in Britain. They remain immensely grateful for all the love and support. In return, they have helped us to become more aware of our common humanity and as we reflect on Christ’s call to look out for our neighbour, the need to be in conversation not only with other Christian communities but other Faiths as well.
