FIRST COMMUNIONS:

This weekend and next weekend we will have four celebrations for the children of St Mary’s Parish and on Sunday, 16 June, the Bishop Eton First Communicants are invited to share their joy with the wider community at the 10.00am Mass. That provides me with a special challenge as the 11.00am that day is the last of the First Communion Masses at St Mary’s. However, hopefully, with a little careful planning, we will be able to manage it all with a calm reverence.

And, once again, I ask you to join me in a prayer that the children and their families will see these celebrations as springboards to lifelong commitments to our parish communities and to the Eucharist which binds us together in the Lord.
