PARISH MATTERS: 

The First Communion Programmes: Both parishes launched their First Communion Programmes last Sunday and I have been in the schools this week, following up on those opening sessions.

The Journey in Faith and an Alpha Course: In response to our meeting on All Saints Day, we have responded to the wave of interest by pursuing both a ‘Journey in Faith’ for the those who are interested in being received into the Church and an ‘Alpha Course’ which we will throw open once a team has been formed and trained. Everyone who attended that evening has been contacted. If there is anyone else who would like to know more about being received into the Catholic Church, then please join us this coming Tuesday at 7:00pm in the Hughes Room (entry from the car park at the back of the church) for the opening session of our ‘Journey in Faith’.
