Become a Community of Prayer

BECOME A COMMUNITY OF PRAYER

Father Tim has asked that during  the challenging times ahead, let us become a community of prayer.

At 7pm each evening, the priests and brothers of the Redemptorist community at Bishop Eton invite you to join them in prayer. This means that the families of Bishop Eton and St Mary’s can stay united through the days and months ahead.

Select an area in your home where you can pray in comfort. You may wish to light a candle

SYNOD SUNDAY

synod 2020 logoThis Sunday 18 October, we celebrate the third Synod Sunday in the Archdiocese. Originally this was to be the weekend of our Synod 2020 event, but the COVID-19 pandemic means this will now take place in June 2021. Today the summary proposals on our four Synod Themes will be published which you will be able to find on the Synod Website.

Over the following weeks our local Synod Members will be inviting your responses to these proposals as we continue to discern the Church God is calling us to be. www.synod2020.co.uk

The Archbishop has written a Pastoral letter click here to read and the Archdiocese has produced a video which you can view below.

Fratelli Tutti (brothers and sisters all):
