Fundraising Workshop - Mossley Hill Church – 7.30pm to 10pm

Ever wondered what it takes to fundraise for a charity project but don’t know where to start?  Mossley Hill Church is hosting an evening workshop led by Terry Jones on charitable fundraising to help you get started including how to prepare for charitable grant applications and maintaining ongoing relationships with grant givers.

Terry began grant funding in 1990 a year after arriving as Minister of Toxteth Tabernacle Baptist Church.  Three major projects over 15 years, requiring several million pounds, certainly stretched grant funding knowledge and time.  5 years as Baptist National Urban Mission Advisor, prior to retiring, added further experience.  For the last ten years Terry has been chair of River Oaks Residents Association which became River Oaks Charity in 2017.  He is still applying for grants!

Come along on Wednesday October 16th to the Hilltop Centre Mossley Hill Church, refreshments provided.  Tickets for the event are £5 payable on the night.

Liverpool Passion 2020 by In Another Place

In living memory there has never been a large outdoor Passion play in Liverpool city centre and 2020 is going to change that.

In Another Place who are known for the award winning Alice Experience and Narnia Experience in St George’s Hall are now bringing to Liverpool a live retelling of the Easter story performed by Liverpool People for Liverpool People. We will be joining the Wintershall initiative to have this same passion play performed across the country, they have been doing the production for 9 years in Trafalgar Square, London and we are delighted to be producing it in Liverpool on 10th April 2020.

These events require a massive team of people to produce and this is no different there are lots of different ways to get involved and a role for everyone no matter the ability or experience.

If you would like to be involved (Acting / Stewarding / Costumes and Props) get in touch by emailing    or call in Another Place on 0151 922 9360  or visit
