This week’s bulletin is packed, including an Interfaith “Climate and Faith”, the latest RADS Production, A Film Night, a Fairtrade Sale, The Woman Peace and the Church Day Conference, a Weekend with Dr Andy Bannister and a Christmas Fayre.
Friday 9th November

Saturday 10th November
Open Church Remembrance - All Hallows Church - 10am to 4pm
We are opening at All Hallows on Saturday 10th for quiet contemplation and prayer to commemorate 100 years since the end of WW1.
The Choir will be singing at 12.00, there will be readings and poetry from WW1 and various displays.
Sunday 11th November
Open Church Remembrance - All Hallows Church - Noon to 4pm
Following our Remembrance service at 10.15am All Hallows will remain open from Noon to 4pm for quiet contemplation and prayer to commemorate 100 years since the end of WW1. The Worship band will be singing and sharing some WW1 reflections.
Monday 12th November
CTMH SOCIAL WALKING GROUP
End of Term Get Together “A Life of Crime”
Meet in the Hughes Room at Bishop Eton (entrance from the large rear car-park). Doors open at 10.30, for an 11 o'clock start.
Clare-Marie Ion, a solicitor with the Crown Prosecution Service, will be giving us a talk about her work. After her talk, we will go for a lunch in Hope Uni. Bring money for Lunch.
This will be our last meeting until February 11th, when we will have a tour of Allerton URC, followed by a local walk for which Brendan has kindly agreed to be the leader.

Tuesday 13th November
CREDIT UNION and RIVERSIDE’S FLOATING SUPPORT
Every Tuesday at St Barnabas 10.30am - Noon
St Barnabas Church host a Lodge Lane Credit Union drop-in service in the church. A full range of Credit Union services is available.
There is also a drop-in support service, run by the Riverside Housing Floating Support Team which promotes the well-being and independence of vulnerable people in Liverpool. Advice on matters such as budgeting, debt management, accessing benefits and finding/sustaining accommodation is available.
Tea and coffee is available between 10.30am and noon.
Wednesday 14th November
LUNCH CLUB – Elm Hall Drive Methodist – Noon – 1.45pm
We extend a warm welcome to anyone who would like to join our happy group.
We meet each Wednesday at Elm Hall Drive Church for a freshly cooked two-course meal, followed by tea and cake, for £3.
Friends can, of course, sit together - but we would want to get to know you too!

Wednesday 14th – Sunday 18th November
Reformed Allerton Dramatic Society are pleased to announce their forthcoming production of Secondary Cause of Death”, a comedy by Peter Gordon on Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday at 7.30 pm and on Sunday 18th November at 2.30 pm
Tickets priced £7, £6 concessions and £3 children are available on the door or on rehearsal evenings on Monday and Wednesday evenings. We hope an amusing and enjoyable evening will be had by all.

Sharing Actions, Advice and Practical Support for Faith Communities on Energy
Please join us during Interfaith week 2018 to learn, share, engage with and inspire others from across faith communities in the Liverpool City Region.

Women Peace and the Church – Day Conference Liverpool Hope University, Shaw Street – 9.30am – 4.00pm
Registration: Available at the Liverpool Hope University Online Store, free of charge
This event will be followed by an Ecumenical service at the Metropolitan Cathedral on Sunday, November 25th 3.00 p.m. attended by Church leaders from Liverpool and Cologne. All welcome.

A Weekend with Dr Andy Bannister Presented by Long Lane Church
Andy is the Director of the Solas Centre for Public Christianity and an Adjunct Speaker for Ravi Zacharias Ministries, speaking regularly, from universities to churches, business forums to TV and radio, he regularly address audiences of both Christians and those of all faiths and none on issues relating to faith, culture, politics and society.
Andy is the author of numerous books including the humorous engagement with the new atheism The Atheist Who Didn’t Exist.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE - Allerton URC 11am – 2pm
This year the fayre will be held in our newly decorated sanctuary. As well as a variety of stalls: craft, cakes, Christmas gifts, preserves, jewellery, books etc. There will be a tombola and a raffle with excellent prizes. As in previous year,s Santa will be in his Grotto and you can enjoy hot and cold refreshments in our café. Entrance: adults £1, accompanied children free.
