The Redemptorist Province Meeting at Hawkstone was a good experience as we reflected on new forms of evangelisation under the direction of Fr Anthony Gittins, a Spiritan Father, who has worked for many years in Chicago. He reminded us of the constant challenge of being faithful disciples of Jesus and how this is lived out above all in our meeting the living Lord in our daily lives. Plans and programmes may help, but far more important are the opportunities we provide for one another to experience the power of God's Spirit at work among us. In that spirit we will press on with our plans to form an active parish pastoral team (Parish Council) and prepare our children and young people for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
