Fr Desmond in his role as Chair of Governors attended a Safeguarding course during the week. In light of that meeting Fr Desmond will be following a new policy regarding references.
• Unless Fr Desmond has been personally asked in writing for a reference he cannot give one.
• Fr Desmond cannot automatically agree to give a reference if he does not know the person well enough.
