Papal Visit - Important Notice

PAPAL VISIT

Bishop Malone has been in touch with each of the Pastoral Areas to highlight the arrangements for the forthcoming Papal visit.

For Birmingham and the Beatification of John Henry Newman.

Sunday 19th September 9.30am. There will be several coaches leaving from various parts of the Diocese.  We have been allocated 10 places for our parish for anyone wishing to attend the mass.  These will be distributed on a first come first served basis via the Parish Office.  There is a cost of £25 per person to cover  Security clearance  and Transport.

London Hyde Park Prayer Vigil Saturday 18th September, 5pm.

For this event we have been allocated 14 places from the parish.  The arrangements for this will be again a first come first served basis and people will need to make their own way to London. Names are still required for security reasons by the end of this week, and a £10 fee for an underground pass and pilgrim pass.

We need to know the names of those wishing to attend either of the above events by Friday of this week at the latest. If you would like to attend either of the above, please contact the parish office and state which event you would like to attend and you will be placed up the list.  Please ensure that you give your name and full contact details.

As mentioned above, it will be first come first served.
