The Restored Lives course is run over six weeks, one evening per week.

The talks cover the key issues to help you to move on and highlight the practical steps and tools to enable you to tackle the issues that arise from separation and divorce.

As an official provider of the government scheme, SJOG Homes for Ukraine acts as a matching, training, and support pathway for guests from Ukraine and hosts in the UK who are willing to provide much-needed support. Our programme operates collaboratively with the esteemed Caritas Social Action Network (CSAN).

At SJOG Homes for Ukraine, we offer a range of services to ensure fulfilling experience for both guests and hosts. These services include matching, training for hosts and guests, transportation assistance, a Welcome Box for Ukrainian guests upon arrival, and support during the placement.

CAROLS FOR YPAS THANKYOU

On Monday the 18th December 2023, over 20 people from Bishop Eton, Blue Coat and our community raised nearly £400 for YPAS!

We had an amazing time visiting homes and singing our hearts out in the streets! Thank you to the best Italian restaurant in the city cucino_di_vincenzo for letting us in and fill your beautiful space and to your very lively and generous customers!

All funds have already gone to the charity and will be put to work supporting  the mental wellbeing of our young people.

CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES:

Our Parish Family celebrated a wonderful Christmas, especially on 22nd December. The Justice and Peace group provided carols for the Confreres in the Chapel, and then joined in the fun at the ‘Christmas by Candlelight’ event at the front of the Monastery.

It was a wonderful evening, enjoyed by all, raising in the region of £5,000 for the Whitechapel Centre.

We will publish a final figure for the event in the coming weeks.

CHRISTMAS BY CANDLELIGHT A GREAT SUCCESS.

 

Some photos and a silent video marking the successful Christmas by Candlelight event that took place to raise money for the Whitechapel Centre.   As of 29th December we estimate aroun £5000 was made, a final figure will be published in the coming weeks.
