Marie Curie Christmas Decoration appeal
Dementia Friendly Christmas Carol Service
At the Metropolitan Cathedral from 2.00pm - 3.00pm
There will be singing from local school children, a simple drama of the Christmas story and following the service there will be mince pies and teas etc in the Gibberd Room.
There is no need to book and everyone is invited and welcome.

Allerton Farmers' Market Stall
Saturday 7th December
Things are now falling into place for the CTMH Market stall.
There will be displays for
- ·Christmas Cards,
- ·The Hope Christmas Magazine,
- ·Christmas Angels and
- ·a Children’s Booklet with the Christmas Story produced by The Bible Society and Hope.
St Nicholas Anglican Church and the Methodist Partnership in Halewood have generously donated 40 Christmas Angels, but we would welcome more. If you can knit, sew or crochet one or more in the next couple of weeks it would be greatly appreciated. Patterns are available at the following links

A “Space To Be Service” will take place at 12 noon on Saturday 23 November 2019 (International Survivors of Suicide Loss day) in St Matthew’s RC Church, 19 Townsend Avenue, Liverpool, L13 9DL.
The service is open to people of all religions and none; and whilst it is open to everyone, we particularly welcome those bereaved by suicide as well as those who are or have been suicidal.
The hour long service will include testimonies from Fr Conor Stainton-Polland and 4 guest speakers.
There will be quiet periods of reflection, music, and a dance performance.
We would encourage you to stay for refreshments, which will be served afterwards.
Please feel free to share this information with anyone who you may feel would benefit from attending.

SVP Food Appeal
On Sunday 8 December the SVP are asking parishioners to bring a small offering to be made before the offertory procession of cans, pasta, rice and non-perishables.
The need in our city is very great and is especially felt around Christmas
. Thank you for your generosity.
The Metropolitan Cathedral's appeal for toiletries, nightwear, toys for children, chocolates and other new items for the Women’s Refuge has started once again. As you start your own Christmas shopping please consider popping a little bit extra in for these families who have been through a tough time and who have fled from their homes with nothing. It is hard to imagine isn’t it?
